Well worth the two hours of earth-ing tonight. Separating all the precious lilacs from their tiny stems.. Another evening of using Nature's Gift of fresh #Lilacs and #Lemons to create #LilacLemonade 🌿🌸🍋🔮🌿👣🌲🦋✋🙌☯️🐾🌈🌻☀️💫🌀🐚

YES Lilacs are edible.

Directions
After gathering your lilacs, I separate all of mine from any leaves and stems. This is time consuming, but very relaxing at the same time and smells so wonderful.

In a pot ad
2 Cups of white sugar
4 Cups Water

Bring to a boil for a few minutes, them simmer for about 5-6 minutes.

Remove from heat and add in 1 cup of fresh lilacs, and 2 Cups of lemon juice. ( You can use fresh or bottled) stir gently, cover and let sit for 30 minutes.

Strain out the lilacs and add to a pitcher and add in about 6 cups of cold water and stir.

SERVE OVER ICE!!! SO REFRESHING..
