I just love how my Mini Pumpkin Praline Pecan Honey Chai Pies turned out. I was sent a jar of Queen’s Harvest Praline Pecan Honey Butter
and as soon as I smelled it-- I knew this jar of sweet thick golden deliciousness had to be the star in my pie!! So I decided to have a little kitchen fun and create a new fall desert. We all know it's pumpkin this and pumpkin that. I do like pumpkin but I wanted something better instead of the traditional pie, something that's just popped with one bite, leaving my guests wanting more. And the result of this recipe ( below) is Wowsa Delish!! - the flavor pops , and I know it's the addition of the "Queen’s Harvest Praline Pecan Honey Butter" it has a thick spreadable consistency like peanut butter - you will want to eat it by the spoonful - I did!!
So before you read my recipe below, head over and order yourself a few jars- trust me your gonna want more than just one for your Thanksgiving Recipes. As I am typing this I'm seeing sweet potatoes casserole dancing also, another recipe so on to this one.
Here is a savings tip - one pie roughly serves (6) people. With this recipe you can make 18 Mini Deserts- one is perfect for that after dinner big meal !!
Here is the Recipe I created- super easy and fast with a few helpful things.
For the Crust :
1 refrigerator Pie Crust ( comes with 2)
Or feel free to make your own. Just make a double your going to want one for the shells and the other for toppers! Roll out and use a large 4-5" cutter or glass- then place each inside a greased metal cup cake pan - Save all the scraps you will want them to make your toppers later. Tip if you have silicone it works great . I actually prefer for this because they pop right out.
Next mix up your filling.
PIE Filling :
14 OZ can Pumpkin Puree
1 can evaporated Milk
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup "Queen’s Harvest Praline Pecan Honey Butter" I got it Here
1- Tsp Each - Cinnamon, Nutmeg,Coriander,Clove
Dash Salt
Simply mix all ingredients with a wish till combined- easy as pie!
Next you will want to ad 1/2 Cup to each muffin tins lined with crusts. Bake in middle of oven about 35 minutes.
Toppers
Using the scraps of dough left - use any fall mini cutters of leaves, pumpkins etc to create one for each pie. I layed mine on a silicone lined cookie sheet and brushed with an egg washed separately from pies because they are smaller and take much less time to bake. Then pop on your hot pies when you remove them from oven to cool. I got everything read and baked on top rack while pies were being. These took about 10 minutes only.
When your pies are done - remove from oven and place your little toppers on each. Do this while warm , as the little pies settle this ensures they stick and stay put.
Let cool and Enjoy!! And grab your Queen’s Harvest Praline Pecan Honey Butter Here !!
