Copy Cat Cheese Cake Factory Brown Bread Recipe -  Easy To Make !!


Since my all time favorite is warm bread - and I adore Cheese Cake Factorys brown bread served warm - I decided  sinceskt was a rainy Friday , Ide to recreate it. I was really thinking it would take me a few attempts, but I nailed it on the first go around.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Warm Strong Brewed Coffee
1 TBS Active Dry Yeast
1/3 C - Brown Sugar
1/4 C- Veg Oil
2 TBS Dark Corn Syrup (or) Molassis
1 TBS Honey
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 TBS Unsweetened Baking Cocoa Powder
3 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
4 TBS - dry oatmeal
Egg Wash Before Baking to brush on top

Directions:

In your mixer bowl ad the warm coffee, brown augar and yeast - mix and let yeast bloom and froth for about 5-6 minutes .

Then wisk to yeast mixture, oil , dark corn syrup, honey, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder.

Attach dough hook to mixer and ad 1 cup of flour at time. Adter all flour is incorperated . Allow mixer on medium to mix and kneed dough about 10 minutes until a soft ball.

Remove dough and place in oiled bowl and oil top of do to not dryout. Cover with Saran wrap and towel and place in warm place to double ( about an hour)


When dough has doubled in size.


Punch down and form into a log and place in a greased bread pan to rise again. 


Cover with towel and allow to rise again till about 1"from top of pan. Lightly do an egg wash and sprinkle top with dried oat meal.

Bake 350 F degree preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven , allow 5 min to rest. , Then remove to a wirerack to cool
