I was given the opportunity to review this wonderful Story Harbour
Folktales CD by Traditional Story teller, Zette Harbour With my job do allot of daily driving so this was so relaxing to listen to in between my client visits. The CD itself is about an hour long and will be enjoyed by everyone in your home.
Stories travel the world and we can enjoy them when they visit our corner of it. Hear about Anansi, the half-spider, half-man who covets the stories of the sky god. Visit the British Isles and learn a thing or two. A poignant tale from Japan speaks to us all. From the deep reaches of the ancient city of Jerusalem, learn the meaning of poverty and of wisdom. Finally, test your cleverness against the innkeeper's daughter.
I also used it to take the grand kids back in time to a place where TV was not here. Made popcorn and sat them around to listen to the wonderful stories. They really were engaged and enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this to anyone and family to share some great bonding times. Also would make for a wonderful trip CD. I used to read to the kids on long car trips, but this would be great for the family on trips.
