Spring Deviled Eggs Recipe- Festive, Colorful and Fun!

Easter is almost hear and what better time to share my Spring Deviled Eggs Recipe. Its fun and festive and the kids and big kids alike will love them.


  • 2 Dozen Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1 Cup of Miracle Whip ( it gives the deviled eggs such a great flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper
  • 1 TBS Sugar or  Sugar Substitute
  • Food Colorings
  • White Vinegar

Step 1: Prepare Your Food Coloring Bowls
To Each Bowl I add about 4 drops of food coloring, 1 Cup of hot water, 1 TBS White Vinegar, whisk then add cold water about another 3 cups. You do not need to buy the pastel food coloring as the regular ones work great to get the spring colors. But you can use any colors you desire.

Step 2 : Prepare Your Food Coloring Bowls
Peel your hard boiled eggs and cut in half legnth wise. Separate the Yolks and Whites.
Wash off your Whites to remove any yolk from them. I made 4 Color Bowls so I put 12 of each in each colored bowl solution and soaked them for about 30 minutes. Then drained each batch in a colander and placed on paper towels. Line your Plate or Serving dish alternating your colored egg whites.

Step 3: Prepare your Filling
With a fork you want to really cream your egg yolks, add the Miracle Whip, Salt , Pepper and Sugar. I then place my mix in a pastry bag with a large tip and fill each egg.

  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. 
  • Tip - Place a Toothpick in the 4 outside corners so your plastic wrap or foil does not rest directly on the eggs.
