As a very busy Mom and full time Blogger the last thing I really have time for it seems is planning meals for the week. Its ironic because last week, I was feeling really guilty about this and trying to brainstorm a way to put more organization into this dilemma. I felt this is the area I was lacking in, badly. I put that on my to do list and that's where it has sat. Well someone above must have seen that and sent Meals By The Week my way just when I needed them the most, I almost jumped out of my seat when I was offered the opportunity to do a review and test out their online program. Now how lucky can this Mom Get ??
If your a working Mom , I do not have to explain how hard it is sometimes to give yourself to everyone all the time. Whether your a work at Home Mom like myself, or work outside the house . If you are like me, you know how fast time gets away from us . Before you know it your work shift is done, its time to pick up the kids from school- get them to practice, games, school events and outs side community happenings. Then you get home and it strikes you -nothing planned for dinner again ! Who has time to plan meals? I surely do not - that's why I have fallen in love with Meals By The Week - it does it for you !! Anything to help my days easier and have more time for the fun stuff and myself, I am all for it.
How does Meals By The Week work
You simply sign up and pick the plan that works for you 13 weeks, 26 weeks or a year. Select your Store in your area you shop in. And then let Meals By The Week show you how easy and effortlessly planning your weekly menu is .
It then programs a menu of meals for you for the week , the recipes and instructions and you can Keep it, Double it or Skip it for each meal suggestion. It also allows you to select how many people you are feeding ( 2 - 16 people ) So you decide what meals you want on your menu. Then Click to Print the Menu with the meals, recipes and instructions and your Shopping List. Yes I said the Shopping list too !! No more running to the store each day to figure out what to buy for dinner. Do it once a week, have everything you need at hand. Follow your menu plan and walla, you are the new Super Star Chef Mom. Your husband or partner is going to think you really can do it all . Let Meals By The Week help you be more organized and put great meals on the table each night and still have time do all the things you love.
Can you hear the excitement in my post? Trust me I am super excited here. I think my family will be happy to- no more fast food last minute drive thru's and Peanut Butter and Jelly because I failed to plan what was for dinner (again). I've got my Menu already printed and shopping list ready to go for next 7 days
What Menus Do they have you ask?............
400 Calorie Menus
Paleo / Gluten FreeMeals in a Moment for Fast Meals
Slow Cooker Meals
Vegetarian.....and adding many others to come !
And one of my favorites is their "Dessert Emails" they send you, and the "Archived Menus" that give you a 4-week look back of past menus in case you don't get something cooked or want to go back to a family favorite if you didn't print it out.
Meals By The Week has also a Kitchen Basics area to help you in stocking your pantry and cooking tips and tricks, a great blog and a real personal touch. I learned something new tonight - How too Flatten a Chicken - Wow !
