Mexican Chicken Soup made with Jiva USDA Organic Cumin Powder - The Best !!!

As a Chef who has had her own restaurant and catering business. I always tell those young and aspiring chefs that in order to product a great product everyone will Love- You need Great Quality ingredients. And Spices should not be any less but the best. Just as if you are serving prime rib, you would not use flank steak. Spices should always play an important role in your cooking. Just as my father taught me the same in cooking with wine - if you cant drink it why would you cook with it? I have held true to that principle for years. Quality is #1 in anything I make ! 

 There are allot of spices on the market and some not so good, lacking in flavor. When invited to try out Jiva USDA Organic Cumin Powder   , for my honest review , I was happy to. Now the first thing I am going to say about this product- when I opened my mail box I had 3 packages in their. And I knew the Cumin had arrived - I could smell it inside the mail box in a heavy wrapped package. Now that's going to be a good spice I said to myself. Wouldn't it be great if we could smell all spices that are already sealed. I hate those little plastic shaker jars some come in. I received a nice full 7 oz package- close to a 1./2 pound ! I am going to say the quality is right up there on the top of my list of spices. I also love that it is organic - finding spices that are organic has not been easy for me. 

 What is Cumin
