As a Mom the number # 1 thing that I love to see my kids do is "READ" And as a mom to six that is not always the case. I have three that love to read, and three that its a challenge in this modern age of technology.
I found that family time and reading is always a great match. Also when we are on car trips it seems they love for me to read a book and it a great family interaction and keeps their attention.

After spending a few days reading The Ultimate Treasure Quest I: The Jewel of Peru over the Christmas Break to the kids, I discovered in myself - I wanted more of it! The kids and I read the book in 2 days. Switching roles of who got to read was fun also. The Jewel of Peru- is a very interactive, fun and a captivating book. It is very easy to read and follow.
The ending to each chapter leaves you wanting more and its very hard to put down and found kids wanted more and more. In The Jewel of Peru, all the characters travel from the past to present-day Peru and create a bonding of getting a job done together .
It teaches kids and adults about Peru and a different society with a modern day twist. In my opinion this would make a great book for kids to read as well as home schools and in class room interactive group reading

She was born in small town Alberta, Canada and still resides in a small town there with her husband of 28 years. She has three grown children and has been teaching elementary school for eighteen years. Now that her children have left the nest, she is spreading her wings into the realm of professional writing.
