I have the worst dry cracked heels and feet you could imagine. Its probably the one most thing that I hate of all times. I have been going to get a pedicure each month just for this reason, but I will be honest. Spending upwards of $65 each month for this is starting to hurt the wallet. So I set out a few months ago to try to give myself my own at home feet treatments. I purchased creams and ointments, foot soaks and those files to use. I was doing pretty good , but could not really get that spa feeling to my feet and get those calluses as smooth.
Recently I was given the opportunity to try out La Pedi Bon for testing purposes. Now at first I tried this on my heels dry, and really did not like the effect I was getting. It did take me some time to get the motion of how to use it to be most effective. I found for me it works perfect after a bath or foot soak. Removes all the dead skin and leaves my heels as smooth as if I went to the salon. I am totally impressed with this, its pretty powerful, runs on 2 AA Batteries, and comes with an extra roller, cleaning brush, complete instructions and cover for roller.
Below is a before and after and in use picture. As you can see it is really powerful but oh so gentle. Very impressed with the results ! As you can see from the picture below it really does get all that dry skin and smooth out the calluses.
Cleaning it was very easy also as it is water resistant. I simply rinsed it under water, and turned it on for about 10 seconds , and used the little brush that came with it. There are two buttons on the sides you can remove the top and clean it that way, as change the roller head.
