There are so many kids and adults today that do not have vision care. Our daughter thankfully caught early with a reading problem was all due to needing corrective lenses, but 20% of children struggle to read or see due to poor vision.  I am happy that our schools provide yearly eye exams ( but not as thorough as an optometrist) So I encourage you to take your kids for yearly vision testing each year- they should have at least three before the age of five , but its heart breaking that 76% of kids never get that. Startling fact is that 10 Million school kids are not getting this! But today  I ask you all to come together and pay it forward and  give back the gift of vision to a child in need. We can make a huge impact for those in need. Please click here Today - it takes just one person then another to help change the world for kids vision ! You can purchase this for yourself , friend or family member in need .Right now through December 31, 2015, every VSP Direct™ individual plan purchased as a gift for someone else helps children in need

I am going to Give the Gift of Sight to, one of my dear friends who does not have vision care with her gift of sight over Mothers Day. I decided to get her a great new pair of sunglasses that meets her personality and a heart warming card and print off her gift for her and present it to her ! I can not wait to see her reaction. ( I will do a follow up post to document that for you  all) Also knowing that my one gift doubles as well. Because the gift I purchase today, also gives the gift of sight to one child in need !

Please Join Me in the- Gift of Sight from VSP, you give twice.
