Verizon's HopeLine program provides financial support to domestic violence organizations across the country. Recently, Verizon hosted an event in New York City with pro football player William Gay and actress Uzo Aduba to support their HopeLine® from Verizon program and announce the goal of 1 million phone donations by the end of 2015 to support victims of domestic violence.

Together, William Gay and Verizon asked people across the nation to take action against domestic violence in two simple ways ... by dropping off no-longer-used wireless phones, batteries, chargers and accessories from any service provider, at any Verizon store or visiting www.verizon.com/about/hopeline to learn more.

How HopeLine Contributes

HopeLine collects no-longer used wireless phones, batteries, chargers and accessories in any condition from any service provider to benefit victims and survivors of domestic violence. Wireless phones given to HopeLine are refurbished and recycled in an environmentally-safe way, with proceeds going towards the financial support of domestic violence awareness and prevention initiatives.
By Donating Wireless Phones & Services
Verizon donates wireless phones, complete with service and data, to local domestic violence shelters and non-profit organizations and agencies for use by victims and survivors. These phones serve as a vital link to support services and provide a safe line of communication to family, loved ones and employers.
