Being born and raised in the Adirondacks of Lake Placid NY. I was given one of the greatest privilege's of learning to ice skate  in the Olympic Oval of the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics.

Having the chance to experience that is rare and when it comes to your little home town, it changes it forever. This book Riding by is a wonderfully written book of short stories that captures the inner spirit of those in the Olympic World.

I found "Riding",  to be very easy to read as well as captivating and very detailed. The book it self can be purchased via paperback or kindle on Amazon.

I Enjoyed reading about the varies Olympic Venues and seeing from another eye view. The author left me feeling at peace and knowing that things can change if there is a will and way,

I am not sure if that is what I was to take away from reading- but its what I got. I very much enjoyed this book and would love to see it in as part of school book reading programs as I feel that our younger generation can really gain from the struggle sand achievement's of others first hand.
