If you have never tried a Balsamic Vinegar Glazed Beef Brisket - then its a must, its succulent and so juicy - you will wow your guest every time. I had the opportunity to try out Aged Balsamic Vinegar di Modena Italy, Old World Tradizionale. I am a huge fan of good quality products and this brand gets my thumbs up as one of my top 3 favorites, and blends perfect with a smoked or oven cooked brisket. Recipe below
1 tsp teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tsp garlic powder
2 cup beef broth
1 cup Aged Balsamic Vinegar di Modena Italy
4 TBS Olive oil
1 6 -7 pound beef brisket ( you can also use a pork roast if you prefer - same great result)
Bring all ingredients to a soft boil, and turn down heat and simmer for about 30 minutes to reduce it.
smother your brisket and smoke until done, or cover and bake at 300 degrees for 4-5 hours
Tip: This glaze also is perfect in the crock pot over pork, chicken and beef !
