Tribes-A-Dozen " Halla Egg Bread Mixes" will make your Holidays Easy and Fun #baking

What a perfect day to day to bake some bread at home. Who doesn't love the smell of home made breads when they walk through the door at the end of of a chilly cold day. Dinner tonight is some home made soup that I did in batches a few weeks ago and froze. I really enjoy baking bread, I find it very calming when my life is out of balance - so this is a treat review for me.

I was surprised at how easy it was. Simply add the mix and yeast packet that's included to my mixer. Add water, eggs, and oil and let the mixer do the work. About 10 minutes as I drank my hot coffee. Now the Wholey Wheat and Spelt also called for 2 TBS of Honey for each of those.

I made all three flavors today to test them all out.  After mixing each one separately per the manufacture directions on the box, and putting in a lightly oiled bowl and covering for about 35 minutes.

After the first 35 minutes. I braided 2 of them and left the Simply Spelt in a loaf style, this one was a bit heavier and I wanted to try one of them in loaf style. As you can see I just simply shaped it to how I wanted it and placed on baking sheet with the braided ones. Worked Great as it definitely is a heartier bread mix.

Another 45 Minutes of covered in a draft free place to raise, they were ready for a nice egg wash and get all settled into a  pre-heated 350 degree oven. I have to admit , my fear of baking breads and not having it rise- each time are always on my mind too.

Waiting is the hardest part, as the house begins to fill with that rich warm scents of home made bread. I admit, I had to peek in the oven a few times while baking. I couldn't get the butter ready fast enough!!

Well about 35 minutes later and a quick check with a tooth pic test as recommended. My three hot wonderfully smelling Halla Breads were ready to come out of the oven. I was very pleased at how they did rise nicely during baking. And nice and golden brown - Where is my Butter???
