When Jesus Was a Green-Eyed Brunette left me in awe with its warm stories of Jesus. I loved how it portrayed Jesus when he would appear as an ordinary person bringing him into a new light. It made me feel that during the hard times, someone is really walking with me. Growing up in my religion I always knew but never really felt it - this book gave me a sense of belonging in more ways than I can express. I loved the new light approach and feeling of simplicity. The book is very easy to read and one that I think everyone should read once in their life. I will definitely be passing this down to all my children as a must read. It brought out all my emotions from laughter to tears. It was a hard book to put down, and I wanted more when it ended !
