- Uncover, and cook until it is 240 degrees takes about 6 minutes.
- Then turn mixer on with geletin mixture on low and slowly add your hit syrup mixture to begin mixing
- Turn mixture to high and whip about 10-13 minutes it will get satin thick.
Ad vanilla last
While your mixture is whipping prepare your pans. I prefer to line with foil and spray them with non stick .
When mixture is thick pour into pans and using an oil sprayed spatula spread even.
Then sprinkle generous with powder sugar and leave to dry out about 4 hours you can cut them, any shape and store in air tight container.
Tip you can make minis by putting your mix in a piping bag and piping long rows, cover with corn starch mix. Let dry then cut into mini peices.
Be sure that you toss all your cut peices in the corner start powder sugar mix and excess off and store in air tight
Holiday tip - use Christmas small cookie cutters to make holiday shapes as well.
You can use any flavorings other than vanilla- try pumkin for Holiday or Peppermint too.the sky's the limit .
If you have never tried, do do you will never buy store bought again !!
