This allows you the ability to monitor, view, control and record your footage . For more advanced recording it can be setup to the cloud to capture your recordings, which is a paid service.
I’ve however found the basics enough, to do what we’ve asked the camera to-do. It worked great when we left town on a trip to remote in and check on our cat. It has a microphone feature to speak through the camera. It also would make a great tool for parents who want to monitor their newborns or babies at night. The camera works well in the dark offering a grey image for nighttime , and HD quality for daylight capturing and monitoring.
There are some controls that enable you to schedule captures or even have motion detection kick off recording and has various sensitivities to motion capture.
The interface is very easy and within a couple buttons your fully in and able to view what’s going on in your household, while your away or in different rooms andand n to check out what’s going on elsewhere in your house. The app allows you to zoom in and move the camera up or down or a complete 180 degree side to side view. It comes with wall mounts or desk top choices.
The camera could also be used for ghost hunting. We noticed orbs fly around our house at night, and validat our nighttime activity throughout our living room.
Installation and setup were pretty easy, just plug power cable in. We’ve used it several times for peice of mind with our cat, while traveling so we can see her sunning or laying in one of her favorite spots in the living room. This by far is a good quality monitor compaired to others we've owned.
