Pirates have Dropped Anchor at The Great Escape and
Splashwater Kingdom’s all-new Buccaneer Beach
Our Day started out bright and early arriving to check in. We were personally escorted to Buccaneer Beach, inside "The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom" for the newly renovated Buccaneer Beach grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony .
The restoration and transformation of Noah’s Sprayground in Splashwater Kingdom made way for this re-themed pirate adventure featuring children’s slides and interactive water elements offering endless water park fun. The refreshed and re-themed 24,000 square foot pirate adventure features pop jets, splash pads, children’s slides and water elements offering endless water park fun. The expansion to the upper water park includes 2,500 square feet of new pool deck space and increased water park seating.. Features over ten new interactive elements !

Watching all the kids in excitement was the best part. kids can become pirates for the day in the pirate themed water park . They had something for every age group.
After the ribbon cutting everyone took the plunge in the huge water park for fun and adventures. We were treated to a wonderful lunch that was totally kid themed. Our son remarked that it was so nice to have a buffet he could have everything from hot dogs, macaroni and cheese to snacks, pirate themed deserts and beverages.
After lunch we headed over to ride the " Comet Roller Coaster " in VIP Style as well. I think the kids rode it 8-10 times non stop. The staff and team members of Great Escape were full of welcoming smiles and very nice to everyone. The Greast Esape Theme Park and Lodge is, truly is a one of a kind Six Flags Theme park full of so much you will want to return year after year.
